Fulham promoted to the Premier League

Fulham has been promoted to English Premier League, beating Brentford 2-1 after extra time.

Both teams came into the match full of confidence after overcaming their respective semi final opponents.

Joe Bryan's two goals in the extra gave Fulham the victory.

Fulham were on top of the game in the first half but Brentford recovered in the second half and were more dangerous going forward though without causing the Fulham keeper much problem.


Fulham took the lead in the 105th minute with a free-kick from Bryan in a long way out from goal after spoting Brentford goalkeeper, Raya off line.

Bryan got his second of the the match when he played a one-two with Mitrovic on the edge of the box to get away from two Brentford defenders near him. Brentford keeper, Raya rushed off his line but Bryan sent his shot under the keeper and into the back of the net to make it 2-0 for Fulham.

Brentford got a consolation when Canos' cross is played in and it's nodded on by Norgaard who played on Dalsgaard and made no mistake as he heads the ball past Rodak into the back of the net.
